"I wonder if you could ask your followers for recommendations for venues for a 70th birthday party in the area (30-40 people & buffet meal)...
Nadine A. replied:
Dunottar School is absolutely beautiful and they have a ballroom which may be ideal! I'm not sure about cost, but give them a call. Here's the link: http://www.dunottarschool.com/our-school/lettings/ They also have a grand piano there. If you would like a pianist to play during the party, I would be delighted! www.nadineandre.com

"Hi, hoping you can recommend a lovely restaurant to take my mum to for her 80th Birthday? She doesn't get out much, so we would like to make it special...

The Dining Room or La Barbe in Reigate, both make an already amazing meal extra special if they know it's an occasion:)

The Dinning Room Reigate.

David M. replied:
Pendleton might be a bit to out there for an 80 year young lady. Nutfield Priory is a great setting but occasionally the food and the service can be a bit off. Catch them on a good day and she'll have a fab time. I'd say it worth the risk for the setting alone!

"Hi, I'm looking for recommendations for a pub in the Reigate area for dinner on Friday night - pub please not a restaurant - thank you"
Amy D. replied:
Skimmington Castle
David R. replied:
Seven Stars in Leigh much better than The Plough in Leigh for food. Not as good for selection of beers
Allie B. replied:
Arkle Manor.
Sarah M. replied:
The Black Horse in Reigate - very friendly and welcoming with good food, or Home Cottage in Redhill (behind the train station).
Angela B. replied:
Market Stores or Skimmington Castle!
Fiona R. replied:
Ate at Kings Arms in Dorking - great quality good pub food:) lovely old pub:)
Sheryl W. replied:
The Roe Deer is nice
Andrew M. replied:
The Yew Tree (Reigate) and The Joshua Tree (Redhill/Earlswood) are both excellent for beer and food. They're both pubs, but their food is better than you might expect from a pub. The Beehive, mentioned above, is nowhere near as good: menu is more ordinary, and they've had a poor selection of beer a couple of times that I've been there.

"Hi, we've recently moved to Reigate. Looking to take my wife out for a romantic Valentine's Day meal. Can anyone recommend any restaurants please? "
Graeme C. replied:
The Dining Room

Morrisons Cafe...(probably why I'm single)...

The Dining Room. Superb! !
Sian C. replied:
Grey Rhino is wonderful for a romantic meal !
Aimee P. replied:
The Dining Room or Le Barbe. Both lovely.
Neil F. replied:
La Barbe. IMO Dining Room is overrated; Buenos Aires steakhouse charges Gaucho prices but isn't as much of an experience as Gaucho.
