Plus, federally speaking, there is no such thing as legally purchased, even in WA. All they did was decriminalize it and basically say that the state enforcement authorities can't enforce that federal law. It is, however, still the law of the land. Get caught by a federal officer even in WA and you're still fucked. Actually, that also includes national parks... Here, someone getting arrested in the state: http://www.kirotv.com/news/news/there-are-still-places-washington-state-where-peop/nYYDn/

Some options/resources: http://www.lawyersforburners.com/ http://www.burningman.com/on_the_playa/le_feedback.html Also, if you're on playa, you can always go find someone on the LEAL (Law Enforcement Agency Liaison) team based out of the Rangers Center Camp Outpost.

yaaaa... One you were in Nevada not in Washington. I would not claime on record to ANY ONE you drove or brought it through state lines. Being that BLM is Federal as well they over write state laws. They then after you say got it from Seattle have the right to make other charges. like and such as trafficking. Be very careful with what you say. Considering That Obama has order them FEDS to not prosecut minor pot offenses you have I would say a great case, you will have to weigh the over all cost. I for one am a native Nevadan and now live in Washington. I respect fully you standing up for your rights. Most people do just pay the fine and why the enforcement is so out of control now on the playa. I remember the days out there if this happened you pay $500.00 on the spot or go to jail. At least they now give you the opportunity to fight for your rights on record. However no matter where you live it is forsure NOT legal in Nevada and you have to pay by Nevadas laws when there, more so you are on federal land so federal law trumps all state laws. I wish you the best of luck. But once again I would NEVER own the fact you traveled several state lines with it.
