Try contacting Monarch NC? That’s who I was referred to when I didn’t have insurance.

All I could find is [Pfieffer](http://www.pfeiffer.edu/marriage-and-family-therapy-clinics) they seem geared toward family but is low fee. If they can’t help, I’d ask if they know who could; usually they’ll know of other low fee places. Paul Gilmartin of the Mental Illness Happy Hour podcast suggests searching “low fee therapy” in your area. I’m sorry to say that low fee help requires a fair amount of legwork. Just like you asked here, you may have success by calling some places and asking for referrals. Plus you never know what you’ll find. Good luck and I hope this helps.
Need a psychiatrist for depression/anxiety, recommendations? There are so many. I don't know how to sort through all of it.

Reno Psychiatric Associates is a good place. I can vouch for both Dr Drymalksi and Dr Steinagel.

Adam, after I witnessed a plane crash and was with the paramedics first-on-scene, I got very good PTSD counseling from a psycologist in Truckee, Dr. Anita L. Spencer, who specializes in such things.
