If you want really good food and drinks (alcohol I am assuming) D'railed in IF is yummy Bees Knees is amazing!!! Neither are chains. The Sand Piper and Keefer Island In IF are both awesome and have full bars too.

Along with the Mesa Falls idea you could stop and feed the fish at Warm River on the way to Mesa. There's always Big Springs in Island Park as well, the fall colors right now are beautiful.

For lunch, The Sandwich Tree has amazing sandwiches! Their bread is out of this world. It's their secret recipe that's made by a local bakery. Franklins has the best cheesesteak sandwiches in Idaho. Their fries are awesome too!
