Anyone know where the doctors is here? Do you need an E111 card/form or will just your passport do?
Cathy H. replied:
The E111 was replaced by the EHIC card a few years ago and as it's free anyone travelling in Europe should get one and carry it on them at all times when abroad. This thread just prompted me to check mine and it's expires August 2017 so that's a note for the diary. If you haven't got one and want to apply don't fall for the many con websites out there. Use the official NHS application here http://www.nhs.uk/NHSEngland/Healthcareabroad/EHIC/Pages/about-the-ehic.aspx

Hi , does anybody know, how much it is to see the doctor? Thanks
Erika L. replied:
We had Dr.Dimitris out to my husband while we were out there, 80 euros as we had insurance and he gave us a receipt so if we had to go to Clinic they wouldn't charge us again. He was excellent, even rang Pharmacy to get Ilias to stay open until he could take me there. He rang and then visited hotel next day to see how Mike was and when we went to see him in the evening he was lovely, interested, and actually talked to us as people. Makes a change from our medical centre back home.
Kerry S. replied:
We saw Dr Dimitris last week for our son he was fantastic with him. We had to pay him the excess which was €60 and paid €22 for meds. We saw him three times last week
