Both my husband and I go to Dr. Jonathan Lin. He's a GP, His office is on Campbell, in the medical building that's west of the old Richardson hospital. He's wonderful, office is close by, and it's easy to get a last minute appt. BONUS: Dr. Lin successfully treated my husband's ingrown toenail.

We took our children from birth to age 18 to Dr. John Porter, whose office is on the east side of Floyd Road just north of Arapaho. (972) 235-6911. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr Charles Kasbarian at Floyd and Arapaho is an excellent GP. I can't sing his praises enough!

Lloyd Lawrence, DDS right by the Rec Center is FANTASTIC!!! Best dentist ever. And Dr. Charles Kasbarian is an excellent family doctor. Lives in the neighborhood, very attentive, takes the time to talk to you and all that good stuff. I can't sing his praises enough! He's at Floyd & Arapaho

Dr. Laurie Friedman in the Promenade is terrific. I was referred to him 15 years ago and have continued ever since. Great doctor and a great person.

I like Lalita Gupta at Inova Richardson at Coit and Arapaho. Its got a 'clinic' feel to it but she is very likeable and her nurse is as well. They take pretty much all insurance and do bloodwork in house, so you don't have to go somewhere else for that.

Thanks guys! I went to Arapaho Village Medical Association yesterday and saw Dr. Cowan. I liked her a lot! Thanks for all the helpful suggestions!

OK, I take back what I said about Arapaho Village Medical Association; it's been over a week since I was seen and had bloodwork and an x-ray done. The doctor has had the results on her desk for at least a couple of days. None of my calls have been returned. I've called every day since Tuesday. Has anyone else had this problem? Personally I find this to be totally unacceptable. The practice's excuse for the doctor not calling me with my results is "she's really busy." My thought is if she's too busy to phone patients with test results, she's too busy to be a doctor.

I saw Dr. Cowan once when our doctor, Jonathan Lin, MD was on vacation. I wasn't impressed with her demeanor. I won't see her again unless she is the one and only option.

i like Lalita Gupta at Inova RIchardson at Arapaho and Coit (near Radio Shack and that beer store on the corner). They take a bunch of different insurance, you can always get in, and they are THOROUGH. plus you can do blood work and everything right there, and they are easier (and cheaper) that primacare. Its got more of a clinic-y feeling in the waiting room than a swanky doctors office, but the care is great.

Garland Family Medical Center at 190 and Garland Rd, I see Dr. Kimberly McMillan, and her PA. I have seen other doctors there and they are great too.

I'd say go to Baylor Dental College.. You get the best HONEST care there and not over charged for things you don't need

I use and like Dr. Sheryl Cowan. She's at the Medical Center up on Campbell/Custer area.

Agree with Joe, I really like Dr. Cowan, always has time for your questions and doesn't prescribe meds for every little thing.

We see Dr. Douglas Cluff, about 20 minutes away off of 635 w, near Las Colinas. He emphasizes lifestyle and diet modification but also isn't afraid to prescribe when necessary. I just saw him today and was impressed as usual with his staff and his kind, efficient manner. I rarely have to go to the doctor but I want him in my corner if I come up against anything big. I hope there are neighborhood docs that would fit the bill!
