Can anyone in the Richardson area recommend their pediatrician?
Tonia P. replied:
We love the pediatricians at Forest Lane Pediatrics. They have an office in Medical City and Plano Presbyterian. We love Dr. Mitchell! But we've seen all of them at least once and I really like them all. 972-284-7770
Alicia S. replied:
Pediatricians of Dallas. pediatricianofdallas.com, we saw almost everyone in the office.
Suzie B. replied:
We love ours - Dr. Abel (http://www.pediatricsgarland.com/Pages/home.aspx). She helped us through hospital stays for both of our boys, she is so reassuring, and is great for all of the normal stuff, too. Her office building is nice but it's in the old part of Garland so we don't like that too much. She also only works Wed - Fri but that hasn't been a problem either. Good luck on your search!
Kristen W. replied:
I'll second Forest Lane Pediatrics. Leah primarily sees Dr. kravitz but also Dr. Liu and Dr. Mitchell. Liked all of them so far!
Brent C. replied:
We also use Forest Lane Peds. We use Dr. Blair. But they are all great.
April C. replied:
Dr Somer at Pediatrians of Dallas. Their office is next to presby and everyone from church/work used them. They're awesome! I loved they had a lactation consultant as part o their staff and I could call/visit her anytime without being charged.
Looking for a doctor for my pre-teen, so not necessarily a pediatrician, maybe a family doctor in the neighborhood?
Also, a podiatrist for an ingrown toe nail.
Regina H. replied:
Both my husband and I go to Dr. Jonathan Lin. He's a GP, His office is on Campbell, in the medical building that's west of the old Richardson hospital. He's wonderful, office is close by, and it's easy to get a last minute appt. BONUS: Dr. Lin successfully treated my husband's ingrown toenail.
Michael K. replied:
We took our children from birth to age 18 to Dr. John Porter, whose office is on the east side of Floyd Road just north of Arapaho. (972) 235-6911. Cannot recommend him highly enough.
Drew K. replied:
Dr Charles Kasbarian at Floyd and Arapaho is an excellent GP. I can't sing his praises enough!
Regina H. replied:
Molly that's great. We both love and respect our dear Dr. Lin!
My teen has had back pain for several days. I don't know if I should take him to his pediatrician or to a chiropractor. Thoughts?
Helen B. replied:
I have a wonderful, GENTLE chiro...she would NEVER, ever crack a neck or do ANYTHING forceful or harmful. Sarah Bentley - (214) 960-8796
Linda W. replied:
Erin Stark Calaway is a chiro not far from you. You'll LOVE her http://www.apexwellnesscenter.com
Allison S. replied:
Dr Luke Molitor. I'll send u his info
Helen B. replied:
Sarah Bentley: 10440 N Central expressway . Suite 800. Dallas 75231. 8 th floor. Easy to find. Just north of Meadow on the access road.
Desirée O. replied:
It never hurts to see a good chiropractor. I would find one that went to school at Life University in Atlanta. I have found these chiropractors, by far, to be the best.
We love Dr Porter, also! We've gone to him since 2009.
Jordan L. replied:
Agree with Dr Porter!!!
Deeanna E. replied:
Dr. Abbie Smith at the richardson Pediatric office is also great.
Dakota H. replied:

Vicki R. replied:

Jessica J. replied:
Dr. Randles!! My daughter who is 19 wishes that she could still be her doctor!
Traci M. replied:
My son goes to Dr. Morchower and has for over five years. He still goes to him at almost 17.
Jeanette M. replied:
Any doctor at Richardson Pediatrics.
Susan C. replied:
We love Dr. Karam. He used to be at Floyd/Arapaho but moved his practice to a building behind Medical City. He is practical, friendly, and invaluable when your kids are sick.
Jamie E. replied:
I second Richardson Pediatrics, Dr. Randles is great.
Elizabeth P. replied:
Dr Randles and Dr Troendle - Richardson Pediatrics!
I need a reference to a good Pediatrician in the Allen area or even East McKinney are... off 380... ???? Prefer female and an office where you can get into quickly and...
Heather S. replied:
Acute Kids Care is much better than Care Now. But, I do know of a great pediatric office in Richardson.... Richardson Pediatrics... not too far off Central Expressway. (Floyd and Arapaho) 972-231-2551. Doctor Henderson is Jesi's pediatrician. There office and staff are awesom
Heather S. replied:
I know which one to avoid.... Avoid Dr. Moulton at TLC Pediatrics in my opinion.
Heather S. replied:
Oh, and Dr. Henderson is female.
Debbie B. replied:
I go to Acute kids 99 % of the time. so easy, great docs and better hours. but my regular pediatrician is Dr. Vernier at McKinney pediatrics at 380 and lake forest.
Libby C. replied:
No, for Annah !:) MIss you guys, maybe see you soon. I'm thinking I need to get Taylor some Sparkle Toes for Horses hooves for her birthday she just had.:)
Jordana K. replied:
we go to Raintree Pediatrics by the Allen Hospital and LOVE it!! we havnt actually seen the doctor we always see the nurse practitioner named Michelle and every once in awhile a diffrent lady but they all have been great! also we have ZERO issue with getting same day appointments:))
Debbie O. replied:
Good luck! You can go to Care Now or whatever those corner places are called. I don't know of a dr. where you can get in that day. I love my doctors but even after being with them for 13+ years I can't even get in the same day.
I'm in need of a pediatrician who will allow me to delay vaccines. Any ideas? I've never had a problem before but I'm running into one now.
Colleen S. replied:
Yep. I started calling to get in with Dr. Parsley in Jan 2013 and finally gave up. I'm still on waiting list, though (or at least I should be)
Lindsay L. replied:
We've been with the NP, Christie Potter, at Shine for 6 1/2 years (from her practicing at Healthy Kids in Frisco) and LOVE her. Both Dr Naidoo and Jessica (the PA) are awesome too. Dr Naidoo is also a very strong believer! Shine is the place to go for sure!
Amy B. replied:
Also, Dr. Chartrand at Harmony Health in McKinney is fine with your vaccination choices. It is a family practice.
Stephanie J. replied:
Dr. Allembaugh might be one to talk to, Dr Naidoo, dr parsley in farmersville.
Lindsay L. replied:
Colleen Smith the great thing abt Shine is that they treat how you want to treat. If you want to try natural stuff before antibiotics then they tell you what to do/take. If they feel like your child's ailment needs antibiotics they'll be honest and I feel confident that they believe there is a, need bc antibiotics are not their first route of care if there is a natural way to go. If you choose to delay, fully or not vax at all they respect that.
Amy M. replied:
I don't know who you use, and I don't know where my pediatrician stands on vaccines, but I know he's a Godly man who does his job well. Barry Justice.
Jessica A. replied:
It's not Dr. Justice LOL!!
Amanda C. replied:
Shine Pediatrics is who we use. They are awesome! They will let you vaccinate, delay, or even deny them all together. They use a lot of natural remedies & things also. They are located in Richardson. Worth the drive completely. We love them. They also have a Facebook page. Phone number is 469-333-1543
