Where is the best grocery store in Richfield? I'm new here and on a limited income.

Best: Lakewinds Coop & consider investing in a membership as u will be greatly rewarded by the benefits overall & immediate discounts! Aldi's is notorious the cheapest nationally. Second least costly is Cub Foods. However, just the next city over I prefer Fresh Thyme Farmers Market. It's like a combo. of Cubs, Coop, & Whole Foods Market. Go on Wed. New & Old adds. Also, double coupon discounts. Check out: www.MamboSprouts.com for coupons on healthier items.

Rainbow get s a bad rap, but it's not bad and it's cheaper than Cub. I went into Lakewinds Food Co-op for the first time today and their prices are offensively high. I'd definitely avoid that place. And I agree with Christine Ann...you can't beat the prices at Wal-Mart, but that particular location is REALLY bad and scary sometimes.

Rentals are not going to be cheap anywhere. The 2 bedroom, rather small duplex across from me rents for $1500 I believe. I'm in East Richfield close to the STEM school and our neighborhood is very diverse, like most of Richfield. I think you might want to be more specific as to how far you are willing to walk places. The parks are a mile from me, which to us is walking distance, Target and Walmart are both roughly 2 to 3 miles, and bus stops are about 5 blocks.
