I know this is an after the fact, but check out Centerpoint’s Home Service program. We have used it frequently, and have certainly gotten our moneys worth. Just a few weeks back the motor on the furnace broke. They came out that same night and fixed it- at no additional cost to us. The tech told us it would have been $800-$1000 had we not had Home Service Plus. I would check it out!

We had our furnace replaced 7 years ago. We had the original furnace in our house----45 years old. They dont make them to last like that anymore! We used Southside Heating and Air Conditioning out of Bloomington. Wonderful family owned business!! Ours died on the day after Christmas---try finding someone then! We wanted to stay local and called first Richfield businessess. Not one even returned our call so we looked in Bloomington. Southside came out the day we called and began installation that afternoon. We never did hear back from 2 of the 4 Richfield one's. One did call us back 2 weeks later!

Check out Ray N. Welter Heatings facebook site and read some reviews of the company.
Any recommendations on replacing a furnace and central air conditioning?
Bettie B. replied:
We replaced our furnace and ac about 5 years ago. Died on New Year's Eve. We wanted to stay local so called quite a few to come give us quotes. Southside Heating and AC in Bloomington called us right back and came out on New Year's Day!! They were reasonable, and obviously go above and beyond in customer care. We had a new furnace completely installed on the 3 rd. The other companies: 2 never returned our call. 1 called us 2 weeks later wanting to come give us a quote. Southside: 952-884-2453

Standard Heating!! Our furnace died 5 years ago on New Year's Eve. They were the only one's who responded instantly! New furnace and a/c were installed within 2 days! 2 other local companies called me back over a week later wanting to give me an estimate---yes, over a week later......We had some water coming out of our furnace last summer. Instead of charging us to come out and fix it, he told my hubby how to clean it! Now that is service!!
Anyone have recommendations for companies they've use to clean their HVAC ducts? Thank you!
