http://www.samsmithschallenge.co.uk/map.php is worth trying to get to the Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese to. London is actaully quite small, and the other end of The Strand is not a long walk from Trafalger Sq

The health food shop is great! Violife is magical and very addictive, Heather Redgewell and I buy most of their stock every week I think. smile emoticon The Spiral Lounge is good and tasty in London. X
Heading to Raleigh to check it out. Does anyone know if there are any good vegan or vegetarian restaurants or options at restaurants in the area?

Remedy Diner was always one of my faves!

Fiction Kitchen!
bochu replied:
Definitely Fiction Kitchen like others have said, their chicken and waffles are delicious. They don't take reservations and their wait can be long, but they can call you when your table is almost ready and there's several places nearby to grab a drink while you wait. BurgerFi has a good Beyond Burger. If you somehow end up at the rooftop bar in The Durham hotel, they serve a delicious carrot dog (smoked carrot!).

Must Try: Bida Manda is one of the best restaurants in Raleigh, they have many vegan options. Dinner/Lunch: Fiction Kitchen and Irregardless Cafe are the best options. Brunch/Breakfast: Remedy Dinner Lunch: Living Kitchen, Happy + Hale, Raleigh Raw Mediterranean: Sassool, Sitti. Chocolate: Videri Chocolate is mostly all dark chocolate so vegan. Just watch out for their dark milk chocolate. Coffee and snacks: Sir Walter Raleigh Coffee sell vegan desserts to have with their decent coffee--they have both drip and espresso drinks. Pretty much everywhere has vegetarian options so if you like pastries Boulted Bread is amazing but they do have dairy.

Others have mostly mentioned them, but in Downtown Raleigh alone we have the following vegetarian only restaurants: * Fiction Kitchen * Raleigh Raw * Happy & Hale * Living Kitchen * Oak City Meatball * Remedy Diner

My wife is a vegetarian (20+ years). One of the things she loves about this city is how vegetarian-friendly it is.
