Any suggestions for a reasonably priced, fun DJ who happens to have a good amount of 80's funk/dance/rock in their collection? Caterer?

Bounce audio in Prahran is really good. I got a pair of senhheiser sp 25 s for them for about 100 bucks less than jb were selling them for.

In terms of headphones, Jaben in Lonsdale St (between Elizabeth and Queen) seems to have a pretty good range. http://www.jaben.com.au/

Closest is probably south melbourne

As far as I know, StoreDJ is it. Allan's / Billy Hyde on Bourke Street might have something, but they've really pared down their DJ stuff in the past few years.
Omegaville replied:
Manny's Music Shop in Fitzroy North - not CBD, but a huge range.

Have a look at DJ Village in Doncaster. Great staff and have been in the industry 30+ years as DJ's themselves.

Buckhorn was one of the Sweetest, Kindest and loving people you could ever be around. If we had more people like him in this world our world would not be in the shape it is in today. I am proud to have called "Buckhorn " my friend. His real name was Pete Gross. He came into State Bank on a regular basis and gave all employees many laughs. RIP Buck!!!!! Von Parke
