Quick questions: Does anyone know of a swimming practice for toddlers (not AquaTots) that is good and reasonably priced?
Melanie T. replied:
I take my kids to the G.R.A.P. collegiate swim school. Its a hike as it is southside off Ironbridge, but we have done the YMCA & Aqua Tots, but we love GRAP the best. They are also very reasonably priced. www.swimrichmond.org
Good morning. Do you know of any Track Camps/Clinics/Programs this summer? Please let me know. I have an 8 year old girl who would love to attend. Thanks!

Hi Becky, We know the https://www.facebook.com/217740841636101 Richmond Road Runners Club does a summer track series that is open to kids, and the USATF website may be a good resource, too. Hope this helps!
Puppy Lovers of Facebook Unite: My sweet boy, Babe, 4 year old American Bulldog has some lumps I need looked at. I've always taken him to get his shots at open clinics...

My vote goes to the Clinic for Compassionate Care at the Richmond SPCA!

Betty Baughs (not sure of spelling, pronounced like paws) has been good to us, and if in need of any surgery (hopefully not of course) nothing beats Helping Hands on Cary st.

Some pits are prone to knots, doesn't mean they are cancerous! I go to Stonehenge vet in Southside off Midlothian Turnpike beside Arbys!
Corey D. replied:
We took our kitty to the Center for Compassionate Care at the SPCA. They're income based and super great people.

Kimmie, FETCH works a lot with Dogwood. I don't know anything about them, but heard good things. (Shale was originally Dx'd by Dr Scotti at Springfield Vet on Hungary Springs Rd; I know it's a distance from you, but we like him.)

What veterinary clinics in the Richmond area would you guys recommend?
Laurel A. replied:
VCA Animal Hospital in the 6600 block of west broad, just past Taboo. They aren't expensive, they worked out a payment plan with me. I guess they're a chain? But they're really really really sweet. They also immediately went to bat for me with an issue I had with animal control.

I'm happy with my people on Robinson, behind Buddy's and in between all the hair salons. I think they're called Fan Vet
