We go to Kernville Animal Hospital. It's a bit of a drive but the Vet and her team are worth the effort. https://www.facebook.com/KernvilleAnimalHospital/

How about this story as to why i wont ever use them again. We took my dog in there they said emergency surgery was needed. So we agreed. 1 year AFTER my dog had died on the table they sent a happy birthday card for him. The cost of all this emergency surgery and on call vet fee...1400.00. Another story, making them short. My mom took her puppy in to be exam and find out why he was spinning in circles any time he was put on the ground. Needless to say they said he had an ear infection sold us the medication. The cost for this diagnosis 345.00....The next day we wanted a second opinion from a trusted vet (Dr Talbot from Bishop), well one look from them and they diagnosed him with distemper and stated that he needed to be put down. We made that hard decision but did it anyway. We then went and got his sister to which they gave a check up. For both puppies it was only 100.00.

I took my Beagle to them. They diagnosed him with a heart condition and referred me to a surgical center in San Diego. The estimate was over $6000. I went to Dr. Vicki in Kernville for a second opinion, who diagnosed him with Valley Fever. He was nearly dead by this time. She put him on meds. It took three years for his titer levels to come back to normal and he survived. I refuse to take any of my animals to VGA.

I'm not sure. He is in his early 50's and works and so does his wife but they have mentioned not being able to afford Obama care previously. He opened up to an extended family member so to us that's him asking for help. We just don't know where to start. My sister in law was trying to look for something and my spouse suggested LA area for teaching clinics or hospitals and since she live a few states away we agreed to take him once she found something and that's when I thought to post here for suggestions.
