Anybody know any good bedbug exterminators in philly? I’ve been cursed with these things for a few months now. Our landlord begrudgingly hired a garbage exterminator...

I'd recommend Terminix - we paid for a package thing where they will come back as often as they need to. Since the little fuckers are coming from our neighbors it they continue to infiltrate our place. They come back and spray quarterly (I think) and it does the job. It's expensive, but worth it to know that we'll only have to do the first insane bout of washing/drying/bagging everything in the house once and can call them if we even think we see one.

My parents had them and the only Thing that worked was the whole house heating. You have to take all living things out of the house all day and they heat that baby up so well nothing can survive. Search for exterminators that do heat treatment, otherwise they are hard to kill. We also had to get rid of all mattresses, couches, etc. it’s a bitch. We aren’t in philly but the suburbs, I would just Call around and ask about heating treatment I think they do 2 or 3 to make sure they’re all dead I see the person posted about prodigy and their website says they use heat so def try them

Had them up in NYC. Doesn't answer your question, but until you find an exterminator that gets the job done, I recommend trying some control options yourself. Get a bug proof mattress protector, spray your bed frame and the seam between the wall and floor with the Raid for bedbugs (and any gaps in your floor, we have cracks in our hard wood). Wash your sheets and pillows, try to spray your room while these things are in the wash. Check the frame super closely for nooks and crannies. Doing things ourselves did more than our NYC version of your garbage exterminator did.
