Years ago Betty Kent told me her dad was an optomitrist & went to Dr. Byrd. I've not been (& John goes to U of M) but I'd feel comfortable w/ Dr. Byrd.

If you get desperate, Dr. Jeffery Nester on Joy Rd in Livonia I think, is an Ophthalmologist and Surgeon. All serious eye issues at Garden City Hospital are referred to him. He is also my guy for glasses.

My problems with eye makeup turned out to be dry eye. Dr. Reno suggested flaxseed oil and OTC artificial tears. That was pretty effective.

We have gone to Dr. Marla Price for a long time and have a lot of confidence in her

Julie Reno did Matt's cataract surgery and did a fine job. I have gone to her mom for years Marilyn Belamaric, as well. Never had anything really wrong though.

Dr. Mithoff in Trenton is an Optometrist but absolutely brilliant! I would highly recommend going to her she caught a problem with my cousin that was misdiagnosed at U Of M..and u see her not an assistant....

Hope Janet Reno is a better eye doctor than she was an Attorney General.

Dr. Kleinfeldt in Dearborn or Livonia. He was recommended by our optometrist for a problem Jeff was having. He is very good.

I went to Jerome Switch on Telegraph in Taylor. It was a few years ago but had a good experience.

Dr. Janet Reno at Southland Eye Clinic on Eureka Rd. opposite Southland Mall is good. I like her very much.

Jeff has seen Dr. Reno, as well. We liked her a lot!

I heard Doc Baker in Walnut Grove is pretty good ..... AND? you can pay him with a sack of apples
