No. There isn't. For a town which has been voted many times Best Town (Top Mid-Sized Town in 2015, Best Trail Town in 2013) and Best Mountain Town in 2012) by the readers of Blue Ridge Magazine we have exactly ZERO campgrounds. Dixie Caverns doesn't count... it's a shithole.

Check out this spot, if i recall it’s about thirty minute drive from mcafee and has some good spots to pull in and car camp. It’s not a camp ground if that’s what you are looking for. It’s more so just a lightly used road where people have set up fire rings. 37.583666, -80.160183
