I'd like to use you good folk as a sounding board. We have known for some time that we need a new doctors' surgery with the two dentists alongside. We are likely to...

In terms of the doctors - why not go for the scruffy patch of land on George Hill up from The George which has stood derelict for some time. With proper provision for parking (we all know George Hill is a nightmare), I'm sure everyone would be happy to see the land used to the benefit of the village.

Hello all! As Sue mentioned there is currently an application in for development on the Culverwells site you can view the application and have your say about this particular application via the Rother Council website http://www.rother.gov.uk/article/361/Online-Applications-and-Decisions. Over the next few weeks we will be launching a new Parish Council facebook page to keep everyone updated with important news and information (along with the website and newsletter) so watch this space!

Mill Site has incredible potential for this village and it's a great shame that it's restoration and use is not being prioritised in a considered and beneficial way for the community with a sensitive renovation and development of a lovely historic building. If the Doctors can be incorporated alongside some of the excellent ideas suggested above, then great! Absolute no from me to building on greenfield sites.

There was a special Parish Newsletter sent to all households in August about the long term plan for housing in the village. You can still see this on the Robertsbridge & Salehurst Parish website under "parish" "newsletters". http://www.salehurst-pc.org.uk

As Mike says 'the village has spoken' but our views on can only be taken into account if we each contact Rother by Friday to comment on the current greenfield site application - easiest way is using http://ocellaweb.rother.gov.uk/portal/pls/portal/ROTHERWEB.RPT_DETAILS.show?p_arg_names=reference&p_arg_values=RR%2F2013%2F2380%2FP

Tim Watts - as mentioned above earlier, for background information see http://www.salehurst-pc.org.uk/newsletters.asp - the "special edition" from August 2013. Delivered to all households at the time.
Who is the best dentist in Robertsbridge please (for a very nervous patient)? And did they do denplan?
Tracy C. replied:
Nicola Grainge at Robertsbridge Dental Practice, above Boots (enter from car park at rear). Lovely dentist (have had root canals and she extracted a couple of Hattie's teeth so some experience!). Accept Denplan!

Alex Tremmel is superb, cannot recommend him highly enough. He is so gentle and patient for anyone with nerves. He does do Denplan. Practice is in Fair Lane. .
