Can anyone recommend a good, local conveyancing solicitor? Thank you!

We used David Lloyd at Wykeham Hartford Sheppard in Battle. It was a couple of years ago but they were responsive and commercial. Also used them to do a probate for me last year, different lawyer but also good.

http://www.heringtons.net/ We have bought and sold several houses and flats over the last 16 years, including the one we live in now, and have always found them very thorough and helpful, and very transparent about fees. The most recent was a year ago, son's house in Hastings, and a few years ago daughter's house in Greenwich.

I've used Emin Read in Battle recently. I thought their charges were very reasonable
