We go to https://www.facebook.com/256677674356039Sunshine Pediatrics . Love them. They always return my calls and get us in same day when our kids are sick, even multiple kids (we have 4!)
Nicole D. replied:
York pediatrics is awful. One Dr and he isn't very kid friendly. They only have half days on Wed. The list goes on with the negatives of that place. (the nurses are amazing) but that doesn't outweigh the cons
Angelina V. replied:
Childrens clinic, Dr. Cruz. They have an office in Lancaster and one in Indian Land.

Dr. Robert C. Goodbar is the best. He even takes the time to call you at home if he has a major concern for your children. Excellent staff. He is out of Rock Hill, SC . Rock Hill Pediatrics

I am always very comfortable when I leave there. Jason and Faryn both see Dr Super and she is GREAT! I ask a million questions when I take them to the dr and she will explain everythign to me even if she has patients waiting. I hate to feel rushed whe...See More
Mary T. replied:
You know about the issues Faryn was having Dr Super knew as soon as I took her in and it is not common at all. The wait sometimes can be long but I think its just the fact that they take their time explaining things and its not really often that happens. I am completely happy there

I LOVE LOVE Dr. Hansen with Palmetto Pediatrics!!! He was Josh's dr. all his life.. That group is awesome!!!
Any top notch pediatricians in the Rock Hill Area? I've heard great things about Sunshine Pediatrics. Any others you would recommend? I plan to visit some this week!

doctor Coppel is the best. Drew loved him and so did we. He practices at Palmetto Pediatrics!!
Danny S. replied:
Dr. Bui and Dr. Hanson are great too -they practice at Palmetto Peds as well!
Mellen S. replied:
Palmetto Pediatrics is fabulous but the new non-customer service, pager, multi-office building they've moved to now is absolutely frustrating; however, once you pass all the paperwork process, the MDs are the best.
Kia V. replied:
Rock Hill peds - but the Fort Mill office. Love Dr. Super/Elmore and Dr. McCall. Also love Dr. Osterburg in the Rock Hill office.
Alisa C. replied:
Sunshine Peds is great! Dr Patel has been Awesome! He came to visit Brooklyn while she was in Levines for chemo and brought her a stuffed animal monkey dressed in a hospital gown/mask that has hung on her bed posts ever since. That's when you know being a doctor is more than a paycheck.

Karen R. replied:
Dr Hansen at palmetto peds is wonderful. Corey and Troy went to him as babies up until they turned 18.
Lori P. replied:
Palmetto - Doug Hansen. Has been there for us since Michael's diagnosis and more!
Chris P. replied:
My grands go to Rock Hill Peds. Love Dr. T. But I wish they'd switch because you can only see them for well baby check ups. Forget it if they're sick! Never can get an appt. We always are directed to urgent care because they're booked up. I guess I'm supposed to know in advance that they will be ill & need medical care:( Very frustrating!!
Chris E. replied:
Sunshine peds. That's where my wife works. Dr Patel is very good.

We use Palmetto Pediatrics. We always see Nurse Wendy Baker. She is very compassionate and knows my kids and takes time to listen and find whats wrong with my boys when I bring them in.
Ok so I need a pediatrician for my kids. My options are Tri-County Pediatrics, York Pediatrics, North Central Family Medical Ctr, and Mante Pediatrics of Rock Hill. ...
Jennifer C. replied:
We've been going to Tri-County since Khloe was little and we love it. Stay away from North Central. I've never taken Khloe there but I used to go there. I needed to change medications one time and the person that prescribed it to me told me she wasn't qualified to help me wean off of it. I was sent to the ER and was treated just as bad there because it was Zoloft I was coming off of. I also went for a pap smear at North Central before and felt weird the whole time it was being done. I felt like I was going to pass out. I told the lady that did the pap smear I felt weird like I was going to pass out and even though she knew that she still walked out of the room after she was done. Luckily my fiance was in there with me because as soon as I stood up I passed out on the floor. Once I came to I got dressed and then left. I never went back after that.
Megan S. replied:
For the love of God DO NOT go to North Central Piedatricts!!!!!! My son had thrush ans the doctor tried to tell me he had herpes!! I wish I was making this up!!! After she tested it she was like haha your right it's thrush. Like seriously???? Then he had a check up and we went for his appointment and they tried to say his medicare lapsed. How does a 1 year Olds medicade laps? Then she refused to call and see what was going on. So when we got home I called his insurance and they said there was not a lapse. So she 3 way called the secretary at the front desk and she was like ohh, that's right. We had the wrong card number. How do you have the wrong number when they copy it front and back?!?! Please save your self the trouble. Do NOT go to North Central Piedatricts!!!! Go to Tri-County. I heard amazing things about them!!!
Jennifer C. replied:
We had the opposite experience Heather. My daughter does hand flopping and Dr. John said she would grow out of it. We went to the York office for years. She has been evaluated for autism three times and although she shows some signs it's not enough for an official diagnosis. I kept trying to tell Dr. John we needed a referral to a neurologist and we never did get one from him. We moved to Rock Hill last year and my daughter goes to Central Child Development Center for 4K and was evaluated again there. Still not enough signs but Brittany Caldwell gave us a referral to a neurologist without me even having to ask. Just knowing my medical history and the things Khloe was doing was enough for her to give a referral. Dr. John saw Khloe for years and never seemed concerned even though I know something is off with my child.
All my Rock Hill Mommies, any suggestions on a Pediatrician? I might as well go ahead and start thinking about it now! (:
Anna R. replied:
I go to rock hill peds. I've seen Dr Edwards alot. And Dr super or even Dr Davis believe who told me to go to Levines when Lucas had RSV. Which was a good thing since we were there a week because he couldn't sustain his oxygen level on his own
Looking for a great pediatrician/family doctor in the clover/York area
April replied:
Hands down Sunshine pediatrics in rock hill sc. I take my kida there. I have a newborn and they schedule newborns to come into the office when no other children are there. Just for extra precautions so they dont pick up germs and auch. Then my baby is having a hard time gaining weight...Dr.Patel called me on a saturday just to check on my lil girl. I have been taking my kids there for 14 years!! Never had any issues.
Dana W. replied:
I use both my 1 son who used Tri - county when I came into he life has used them since birth and I find them do be just doctors not really get to know you but Sunshine pediatrics I have used for my baby boy since he was born 5 years now I would recommend they are so helpful, friendly and Dr. Paxtor creates a great experience for my child even my oldest girl who goes there too. He even ask about my nieces when I'm there because they to are patients there. I would choose them over anybody never have a problem getting in when my children are sick or if I have a question after hours or regular hours they always have answered quickly and with being concern about what was going on. They are so caring for my children and wouldn't go anywhere else.
Looking for a great pediatrician near Lake Norman. Any suggestions?
Cindy B. replied:
Not happy with her partner (for when our regular one is not in). We loved Rocky River in Harrisburg but since we moved to Denver they are a little farther than we would like to drive - an hour away.
