Have you been to a [bridal expo](http://www.bridalexpochicago.com/)? There's many, many options in Chicago and the suburbs, especially with your date being 15+ months out. You're pretty much equidistant from Chicago and Milwaukee, so you've got plenty of options. Hopefully not *too* many options. I'm also a suburban DJ. Feel free to shoot me a PM and I can tell you about my company and experience, or just answer any questions about selecting a DJ.

Hi! I'm getting married at Kilbuck Creek in Monroe Center (like 10 minutes south of Rockford) in a few weeks. I don't have a recommendation for a particular DJ but our DJ is from Schaumburg and not charging a travel fee. His company is Five-O DJ Entertainment. Really reasonable rates, decent guy but I will say his communication is not that great
