Need a good pediatrician for my kids. They r with Ahdieh now but I wanna switch them to who will answer calls and call me back...
Delia M. replied:
Between the three i would go with Egbe. I switched all of mine to Richmond Family Medicine with Emily Phillips-English or Steve Collins . Khan I wouldn't trust with my dogs life!
Jasmine B. replied:
Sandhills Pediatrics all the kids in my family go there. They call you back, they're really good and sanitary
Cindy H. replied:
#1 Pediatrician Doctor is Doctor Khan. He's the best!
Jessica C. replied:
I went to Dr. Khan as a child and he was amazing with my family. Those are 2 I would choose.
Marla B. replied:
Purcell Clinic in Laurinburg! Never have I had to call them after hours and they have not called me back within 2-3 minutes! They have 5-6 Drs. Always professional. Love their nurses.
Crystal S. replied:
You should make your judgement based on people you trust! But I had to take my son from Dr. Egbes office cause he tried to tell me every time he was sick it was just a sinus infection! Purcell clinic is awesome and they even have sick clinics on the weekend!
Stefanie G. replied:
I am just leaving Khan's office for good. My son is now 20 months old, he's been going there since he was born and I'm finally sick of it. The receptionists are rude, they have no answering service, you sit in the waiting room forever (my shortest wait time was 45 minutes after his appointment time) and he was constantly brushing off all my concerns and rushing my appointments. The last straw was when my son developed a hydroseal in his right testicle. Khan told us to rush to Chapel Hill ER ASAP, leading is to believe our son was in serious danger. We flew up there, spent 7 hours in the ER and the doctors there couldn't understand why he sent us. It was nothing. Sure, it could have been serious, but even the ER doc said he should have sent us to the local ER and if it required a pediatric surgeon, then we would have went to Chapel Hill. Now we are paying on a $2000 ER bill, plus the emotional torment of thinking your kid was in serious danger. Thanks Khan. We just got a new insurance. I'm switching to Sandhills Pediatrics. There reviews are amazing, they have well taught doctors and I've heard nothing but good things. I'm done with small town, crappy doctors. That's my two cents.
Que M. replied:
Dr Jill Roberson her office is Premier Pediatrics in southern pines . best I know she used to have one in Rockingham but it's worth the trip
Kenisha C. replied:
Dr. Kahn is really good, I used to go to him when I was a little girl
Valjean H. replied:
Dr. Egbe410-0010 Excellent with all 3 of my babies.
Charity L. replied:
Dr Egbe is really good. I took my oldest child to Dr Khans office once and never took him back because his office was disgusting!!!!!! But Dr Egbe us really good.
I need some advice on a pediatrician that takes medicaid, works well with kids and ADHD, speaks English, and preferably lives here in Rockingham. TIA
Shannon C. replied:
Dr Egbe (Choice pediatrix) is wonderful... my children have been going to him for 5 yrs and I have never had a problem. He also has the best nurse ever.... he is very educated!! His number at the office is 4100-0010. He opens at 830am located in the long brick building right beside rham park and rec. He also has an 800 nurse line available when he is not open if u ever have questions or concerns after hours.
Jo C. replied:
Dr. Egbe is amazing!
Heather D. replied:
thankyou everyone i have reviewed different pediatricians in the area and believe i will give Dr. Egbe a try:)
Amy W. replied:
I would not use a pediatrician to monitor my child's ADHD. They are not qualified. A lot of them will but I don't trust them. My son went to Pinehurst to First Health Outpatient Behavioral Services. They are awesome!! ADHD is a mental disorder.
Amanda E. replied:
In Aberdeen, just a few minutes drive, Dr. Roberson and her clinic Premier Pediatrics. She is amazing! She was my pediatrician for awhile and after I had my son and still lived in RCO, she was his. Her number (unless its been changed) was 910-246-BABY
Roseanna L. replied:
Premier pediatrics is the best. I went to Dr Roberson and I take my three kids there. Friendly staff and they are very knowledgeable. Dr clocker is Great with my autistic son
Brittney P. replied:
Dr Mohammed is an excellent dr!!! And Charlotte McNeil a great nurse practitioner
Delana C. replied:
Carolina Behaviour
Megan H. replied:
Dr. Egbe is very good
Tammy H. replied:
I had similar problems with dr. Khan also, Stefanie Goodrich . I would take my son in for checkups or shots and he would always get sick afterwards. The waiting room still had sticky nastiness the next day when I toom him in and the wait time was horrendous!
Heather D. replied:
I wont go to Dr. Khan last time i was there i went to the bathroom and there were ANTS all over the Bathroom and the wait is crazy also
Beth B. replied:
I wouldn't go to Charlotte McNeill, she misdiagnosed my daughter 2 weeks after birth saying she had downs syndrome..... She does not, btw. It sent me into a panic. The Purcell clinic cleared up the misdiagnosis. Also, they have managed my older daughter's ADHD quite successfully for over 5 years.
Heather D. replied:
I use Dr. Adiah but now that he is retiring i refuse to use Dr. Mohammed
Carolyn M. replied:
Dr, Egbe
Christie C. replied:
Anson pediatrics in Wadesboro is really good. Dr Peters is the best.
I so a good pediatrician in Rockingham that takes medicaid and is good with special needs kids with horrible allergies n asthma... My son is delayed in all but gross...
Sarah B. replied:
I know its a small drive from Rockingham but Augusta Pediatrics is amazing and takes medicaid! Its where I took my son before we moved!!!
Katie A. replied:
Look n2 hannon pediatrics n Dayton (on 42 just south of the Dayton Walmart). Kelli Hannon is awesome w/ kids!! Not sure about the Medicaid part tho
Kim C. replied:
Dr.Hilary at Harrisonburg Community Health Center.
Tara S. replied:
Dr. Renick at Bluestone Peds is amazing! My son is also delayed in speech and fine motor and he also has multiple health issues/problems.
Krystal H. replied:
Dr Rice in Timberville is amazing with kids or Springbrook in Broadway. They will refer you to Dr Pence who is also amazing and my son warmed up to him very quick, considering he's shy.
Rachael A. replied:
I've heard good things about Dr Pence, but his nurse misdiagnosed my son with a shellfish allergy. I got a second opinion from an allergist office in Waynesboro and everything came up negative.
Jessica P. replied:
Augusta pediatrics is the BEST! There are many options for all delays . I highly recommend speech and language center in Harrisonburg.
Best pediatrician within 50 miles is Albemarle Pediatrics.
Alexis M. replied:
I went from mcm pediatrician to Purcell clinic! My son has epilepsy, and 2 of my children have asthma n bronchitis and they are the best with them! They listen to your concerns and suggestions! The wait time is so short it's awesome! And the nurses and doctors is absolutely amazing and respectful!
