Dr. Frank Roberto - New Hyde Park Pediatrics. 516-488-1900 His partner is a female. They are in the office everyday but Sunday and I have called them many times outside of office hours and they respond within minutes. He is affiliated with Winthrop and LIJ. I have been using him for over 3 years. 3 other families I know have been using him much longer then me. Him and his partner are both parents. I like that as well.

Jennifer Bauco Schmidt, I've been thru it all with both Dr Dan and Dr Kuncewitch between both my two boys.... I too love them both...They are the most caring doctors I've ever met...I actually flip between the two depending on what type of question I have...lol As of late, I've been leaning on Dr. Kuncewitch a lot and he goes so above and beyond his job with my don it's absolutely mind boggling.... I ask myself often how he finds the time, patience, energy, strength to do that daily...and with a smile.... Uggg it must be so exhausting.... I def. Couldn't ! them!!!!! Only the guys thou!!!! And the desk girls and nurse!!!

I agree Maggiemae Somma. When my second daughter was born 6 weeks early they came to check on her almost daily even though she was fine. I wasn't. Emergency c-section that almost killed me but that's another story. Anyway to this day, it's been 3 years now, Dr. Dan still goes back to that day and is so happy to see that not only my daughter is perfectly fine but so am I. He was just as worried about me as he was my daughter. They really have such a connection with us parents and our kids.

Another for Nassau Peds. You can wait a while, like someone said, but here's a story, I'll make it quick. We were in Aruba years ago, my son got such a bad ear infection it was bleeding..took him to the hospital there, but the meds weren't working so great. Called at about 10PM the service for Nassau Peds and they patched me right through to Dr Dan w/out having to wait for him to call in. He's a fantastic doctor and has a great bedside manner (they all do), very caring.

Nassau pediatrics. Sometimes a long wait but Dr. Kuncewitch and Dr. Camillery are awesome. My boys love them.

My son was kicked out of his pediatric practice when he turned 18. I struggled whether to take him to an internist or adolescent dr. Decided on the adolescent dr because I had switched my daughter, but if you want to go an internist I'd recommend Scott Shapiro at 2 Lincoln. I like his bedside manner and think he'd be great with young adults.

Dr. Mike at Astoria Pediatrics is highly recommended by my friend with an intact son. If you are willing/able to travel to Long Island, Dr Rubin at happyandhealthypediatrics.com is amazing (also voted best pediatrician on Long Island for two years in a row by the Long Island Press).

Dr Rubin is actually a woman. You will love her but I'll keep you posted on any Manhattan docs I find:)
