Dr. Jeff Pacheco at ENTAA. He performed my son's T&A when he was 2 yo. If my daughter needs one, I will be seeing him again.

I wonder how come ENTAA Care is not listed as pediatric otolaryngologists? I checked them in CsreFirst BCBS provider directory. They are good and I have also used them but they should update their listing.

Hi everyone. As an ENT doc who takes care of both adults and kids, I want to share a few things about the specialty...all the docs mentioned are great and have immense experience. Most treat adults and children. Uncomplicated procedures in otherwise healthy children ( ear tubes, adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy) can be performed by all of them without any problem. I usually refer more complicated cases or children requiring adenotonsillectomy for sleep apnea in children under 3 to a pediatric ENT. Pediatric ENT docs have done one extra year of training and just see kids. There are very few in the area. Tunkel and his group at Hopkins, Pereira at UMD, Harley and Milmoe at Gtown, and DC Children's hospital. Hope this helps.
