Hi can anyone recommend a pediatric eye doctor ? (doesn't have to be close by, our insurance isn't accepted everywhere so I may have to drive a distance and that's ok) ...

My husband is the manager at "For Eyes" in Frederick they see children and adults the Drs name is DR. Gilligan he's very good:)

Dr Kern is amazing. We went to Glaser but when he answered a personal cell call while in the middle of my 18 month old's post surgery appointment we decided to no longer continue with him. Also there were several disputes with the office fees and charges.

Dr. Singh is excellent and has very, very good support staff also. FYI, he is an ophthalmologist (eye surgeon), so if your son just needs an eye exam and glasses, you can probably just go to an optometrist.

Does it have to be a pediatric ophthalmologist? We were seeing Dr Kern in Sterling but since moved our kid to a ophthalmologist in Martinsburg -- Martinsburg Eye Associates

I work in pediatrics and we refer patients to Dr Kern as mentioned above or Dr Christina Butera at The Eye Center. Dr Tayyib Rana in Winchester is also great - sees pediatric and adult.

I go to eye to eye in Germantown near the fitness first...I see Dr Chado and the male Dr that works there is even better ( I just don't remember his name ..lol.. I think it was a German name tho)

If your eyes are bad like mine, Mike, my eye doctor is under my medical insurance and I see Dr. Mcgan in Frederick off 7 th street. I switched to him when i got my county insurance

Mike, I see an Ophthamologist in Frederick, by the name of Dr. Hodges. Don't think he is related to us. I strugggle with Glacoma & that is why I see him. If interested I can give you his number. Please take care.
