Visiting - Restaurant recommendations for a Sunday night? Hi all - my father and I will be visiting your fair city next week, and we're looking for a place to have...

Bazar is quite near. It's situated in probably one of the nicest streets of Rotterdam (Witte de Withstraat) It's got a [middle eastern menu](http://www.bazarrotterdam.nl/?file=2823490), and I guarantee you will like it. EDIT: It was supposed to be an English menu, but the [website](http://www.bazarrotterdam.nl/read/menukaarten?sublist=84&submenu=932) is a bit bonkers.

Restaurant week is currently going on (Sunday is the last day). [Check their website](http://www.restaurantweek.nl/lang/en/cities/rotterdam/restaurants) for reservations.

Tbh anything on the Witte de Withstraat (around the corner from Leuvehaven) will be a good choice, with bazar way on the bottom. Ter Maarsch has some really nice meat dishes. Warung mini is a Surinam restaurant for the more spicy variation. That street is the place to be! Enjoy our city!

The first thing I think of when it comes to dining in Rotterdam is Sari Koering, which conveniently happens to be very close to Leuvehaven... However, that's an Indonesian restaurant, so it probably fails your "something different" criterion.

Here's another recommendation for the Witte de Withstraat and especially Ter Marsch, they serve delicious hamburgers and beer, and the atmosphere is great. Gusto is pretty nice for Italian antipasti. Proeflokaal Reijngoud has a great beer selection but might be a bit limited on the food front. Bazaar has nice atmosphere but really isn't that special imho. If you don't mind walking a bit across the Erasmusbridge and onto Katendrecht, there are some nice restaurants on the Deliplein square, especially Bistrot du Bac, a French-style bistro.
