Based on my experience (i finished my lessons in volkuniversiteit and i didnt really learned anything there) . Learning dutch is better in private (so the student feels more free to try eventhough making alot of mistakes, and the teacher more focus on what you need to improve). I learned alots from my husband Daan Herman he is a good teacher and he also has syllabus from my mother in law (professional dutch teacher for foreigner). Usually taking a private lesson is expensive, but he only charge 15 euro for 2 hours lesson and you can make your own time. Thats super cheap and doesnt bother your other activities

Small classes, practical approach, on-campus (Erasmus University) http://csa-eur.nl/language-courses/dutch-course/
If someone is looking for a beginner Dutch course, there is a weekly course starting 4th May with ITHA and we still need two people on the course to reach the minimum...

Your name sounds German.... If you are, you should go to Goethe Institute as it is quite easy for Germans to learn Dutch...
Max G. replied:
Thanks. The Goethe Institute was actually my first choice but they didn't have enough people to start a course:(
