No disrespect to any of the other places in this list- but make an appointment at the Salon Professional Academy in Georgetown- it's a Redken Cosmetology College and the students are well trained in manicures and pedicures, also it is very clean and they use the latest OPI nailcolors . It's very inexpensive because they are a school.

I go to VIP nails on Walton way because they have those cute bear pedi chairs for little girls but they do a great job. They do the shellac mani if you don't want acrylics too. Lasts for a long time.
