That’s a great area my daughters live there and I live in the Budd Lake section. Mount Olive is a great community. I moved here when I was ten.

Lot of good comments . Much of what your asking depends on your like and needs. This is what I can tell you. Mt.Olive has many different style homes in that price range. Best thing to do, if you don’t want to use a real estate agent, rent here first. You will get a better flavor for what and where you like.

Mount Olive is an amazing town, we’ve lived here for almost 5 years now and love it. We don’t live in CH but I know it’s a great neighborhood for kids and families.

I have lived in Mt. Olive for almost 20 years. Our crime rate is very low to none. It is a wonderful town, lots for kids to do and sports/clubs for them to participate in. All schools offer kexcel which is an enrichment program that the kindergartner can attend for a small fee. It is run by the district and provides a full day kindergarten education. My daughter participated in the program and i feel it was a great benefit. My children also participate in afterschool art and exercise/fun programs at the school. The recreation department also offers several great programs for children of all ages and adults. There is a strong sense of community no matter which part of the town you live we are all one. I know several friends and family in CH and its a grreat neighborrhood. It has a huge amount of kids on Halloween, homes are decorated for the holidays, easy to get to stores and activities. I cant imagine living anywhere else now. Good luck on your home search. I hope we can soon say Welcome to Mt Olive:)

Cover Hill is great to raise kids in. Walk to excellent school, good community feel. Raised 2 boys here and only leaving when last graduates HS. Many kids come back as adults and raise their families here. Inventory goes very quickly on the updated homes, don't let numbers fool you. Highly recommend ☺️
