Dunno bout Kent but my local the wheatsheaf in Atherstone has live music. They serve doombar and a guest, usually church end. The Angel recently had finigans wake play. Not my sort of band but it is live music. I went to ashby de la z ouch sat where all of the pubs do real ale and the white heart had an excellent band called The Cheeze play. So there are lots of places out there that do real ale and music. They go together.
