2-3 years back Kenwood had a marine deck that had a internal pocket with a USB cable for iPods but I think it's been gone for a while now. I think alpine had something similar too but that was closer to 5 years back. I'd say just grab a deck you like with a rear facing USB and run it to your glove box or center console so it's out of your way.
