I Worked at hospital for 13 yrs last position was Activity Worker until I found myself bumped and on unemployment line. Forced me to go back to school after having graduated 20 + yrs earlier I took Human Services at NBCC. Ended up in BC and moved back to SJ 1 /2 yrs ago; have been struggling to find stable employment. So for two seasons I drove Big Pink Buses just laid off again in Oct. So I am qualified to work in Recreation, and as a Human Service Counselor. Most of my experience has been with seniors, persons with intellectual challenges and youth at risk. I find working with the vulnerable to be most rewarding and challenging and I love it! Just landed a part-time job in private care home working with seniors to commence next wk. It is wonderful to work in a position which you love; not many love their jobs. So I have been fortunate to find my cliche in life. Hoping for full-tme work in future in Recreation capacity with seniors or intellectually challenged. Sorry so long

OK-I will start. I am an LPN and work as the training manager for Kindred Home Care and for Centralized Nursing at the Regional Hospital. I used to work with John at Xerox and only recently returned to nursing from a career in sales and sales management. I teach First Aid and CPR, MANDT, etc and am enrolled in University to get my nursing degree. Glad to have this place for sharing ideas, meeting like-minded people!!
