Any recommendations for movers? Hey all. Looking for movers to do the bulk of the work for a move from South Minneapolis to Richfield. No packing required, just moving...

Do you want legit movers with a truck and insurance? Or are you going to rent the truck and you just needs someone to do the heavy stuff? You can hire hourly help on these sites: https://www.uhaul.com/MovingHelp/ https://www.taskrabbit.com/ I have hired help on the UHaul site and it worked out well. Two guys for two hours was easily enough to unload a UHaul and take all my family's stuff up to our second story Apt.

Just moved last week and used Matt's. We just had them haul our furniture and start to finish took about 2 hours, and they had great rates.

Phil and Ted's Excellent Adventure Moving was great. Used them a few years back and the two guys they sent out worked their asses off and did a great job. I'll use them again for sure. http://www.philandtedsmoving.com/

Good Stuff Moving - used them a couple of times and will not even look elsewhere in the future. They do free quotes and personally come out and look instead of guessing over the phone. Worth it to at least have them out to provide a quote.

We used Supersafe movers. I couldn’t have been happier.

We have used Matt’s twice. First time was amazing. We booked the move that day because our movers bailed on us (going Fargo to MPLS). Second time was a local move from SW MPLS to Richfield. Cost was about $950 for a 3 be house and garage.

Used AAA movers over the weekend for an unit to unit move within the same apartment building. Will warn you, though, they do charge a non\-refundable $50 for booking and their minimum is 2 hours. Sent 3 workers, got charged 2. That said, they were very fast at getting things packed and moved to the new unit... Had to go chase after them to get the vacuum cleaner and some cleaning supplies back from them so I could clean out the old unit.

We used [You Move Me](https://www.youmoveme.com/us/locations/minneapolis-movers) in our move, and it went very well. Prices were average for movers, but they were efficient, professional, and on time.

Used AAA recently. Ended up being faster and cheaper than original quote.
Hello everyone, I am wondering if anyone can recommend licensed and affordable movers in the area? Thanks in advance

I used College Muscle Movers 3 years ago and they were reasonable and did a great job. I don't have their number but you can Google them. As the name suggests, the movers were college kids.

Just don’t use All My Sons. They broke our furniture and charged $300 more than expected. One of the movers spent half hour taking a crap in our bathroom. It was an awful experience, but we hired someone last minute and had to go with who was available.

Lighthouse movers were phenomenal! I used them several times over the past couple years, I and recommend them to everyone. They are a good group of guys and they were always VERY careful, and I'm VERY fussy.
Anyone have a recommendation for a good moving company in St. Paul area? Just moving a 1 bed apartment from south Saint Paul to como. Angie's list has been a mixed bag.
Rachel L. replied:
I've used Two Men and a Truck three times and have been completely happy with them. They do have a minimum charge, but unless you're a horder they can do a one bedroom well within that minimum.

I've used Good Stuff and I've been very happy with them. They sell boxes and will buy them back from you after the move. http://goodstuffmoving.com

Nystrom Movers did a nice job and moved everything (including the piano) in under the time estimate they gave me.
