S & S Tree Specialists is locally owned. Never had work done by them, but I know someone who used to work for their office. I think they are in SSP.

Jody, you will want to contact Pete at Xtreme Tree service. He is awesome and very easy to work with and much less expensive than S and S. And, he lives in WSP.:) His number is 651-336-9153--tell him I sent you and if you have neighbors that want tree work done at the same time he will work with all of you to help save on costs.

We've used St. Croix Tree care multiple times, and they've been fantastic. My husband works in the industry, and he says they're the best (and one of the least expensive). They took down a massive pine tree for us for only $300. Make sure you get someone who is insured! http://www.stcroixtreeservice.com/

S&S Tree. They removed a huge oak when it fell on our last house during a storm. We lived on a steep hill and it required closing the street and a crane as I recall. It was a huge production. We've used them ever since to trim our—very tall—trees here. Every 3 to 5 years we get everything trimmed to avoid any future storm damage.
