I need a recommendation for an eye doctor who is good with kids.
Jennifer B. replied:
Dr Jordan Brown -- he is awesome! He might not be the cheapest, but he is patient and will try things with kids that other eye doctors won't. Just ask Julia McFerron. He's located at 1097 Liberty St and the phone number is 503-581-4411.

Well, I did not have 5 kids to tag along to appointments, but we still take our "kids" (age 20 and 30 yr old both see her). to Dr. Vasche. We love her and have been going there for 28 years! She helped both of our kids with eye coordination problems. She is a Christian and so very personable and good with kids.
Teresa K. replied:
Yes, I also really like Dr. Vasche. And Kristiana did eye therapy with her.
Mikee S. replied:
I would highly recommend Dr. Vasche. She not only was my eye dr from the time I was 9 till I move to Chicago, but I also was one of her vision therapists before Joel and I were married. She is good! Knows her stuff and won't let anything get by her. S...See More

I worked as an ophthalmic assistant for about five years and unless you need an actual pediatric ophthalmologist I'd say Appleton. I saw Dr. Gasoroeski when I was younger and any of our pts they referred in had great notes and wonderful things to say about their doctors
Margaret L. replied:
Dr.Kimball Main St Haverhill
Amy W. replied:
We go to Dr Dan Lee in Walmart too! Yes, they have Optimap technology to monitor the vessels in your eyes for early detection of things like macular degeneration and retinopathy but without that crazy dilation drop stuff. He's calm and patient with my 9 year old son who seems to like him. And he's quick to offer deals with contacts for the hubby.
Kathy L. replied:
Appleton Eye Associates. Everyone is so nice a great with children. Both of my boys had glasses and one has contacts. They were awesome and patient teaching him at a young age to put his contacts in

Colette C. replied:
Dr. Robin Blair in Newburyport.
Kathy H. replied:

Kristen L. replied:
Dr Gasiorowski is awesome with all ages!
Allyson N. replied:
I take my son to Dr Lee at Walmart vision (yes it's in walmart but he's a real doctor) they have more advanced technology than other eye dr's I've been to, like a machine to test the vision without needing to do the eye chart test as well as taking photos of the insides/backs of your eyes each year to check for subtle changes. Maybe all eye dr's have this stuff now, I don't know. I like him though.
Bethany N. replied:
Appleton Eye Associates has locations in Newburyport and Amesbury. Dr. Kevin Gasorowski is not only my eye doctor but also my son's. He is awesome, uses humor and truly takes the time to listen!
