Hey chick, I also have BCBS for insurance. Me and a few of my other friends go to Jacolin Shifrar, she is an NP at St. Marks. Her office is GYN Affiliates and there are 3-4 OBGYN docs in the office as well, all have great reputations.

I second Dr. Camille Stevenson at Millcreek Women's Center at St Marks. She's awesome! I love her.

I go to a midwife and love her. Her name is Eve Blair. She has been the only provider I have seen that cared about my family history. The office number is 801-523-3053.

Dr. Katherine walker at alta view. She has been my OB since I was 17 and she is amazing! She remembers conversations years apart as if you were her only patient, she is very sympathetic and kind to every situation. Plus she has small fingers which is always a bonus. Lol

I LOVED my old OB/GYN Dr Rixt Luikenaar at the U of U Greenwood Clinic. I can't see her anymore because my insurance changed.:-(

Dr. Watts has been my OBGYN forever. He is in the same office as Yamashiro who is who Emily sees. They are both really good!

I love Dr. Barney he is at Jordan Valley as well.

I used to go to Dr Watts too & he actually did surgery "down there" for me years ago. I highly recommend him if you are comfortable with male docs.

I see Vernon Yamashiro of St Marks OBGYN and he is amazing. He's delivered all my 4 kids via csection and I've had input everytime. Can't say enough what a great dr I think he is.

Dr Tipton in copperview medical center is the best! She is the one that saved Declan's life when he was born! She is amazing. And I believe they accept all insurances, u should call and see if they do 801-567-9780, I'm pretty sure they do tho.

I'm not sure if my family doctor accepts them, but you could find out. Her name is Dr. Kathryn allen. Shes in the harmons building on 35 th and 40 th. Every time we've switched insurance, she's accepted all of them. Altius, medicaid, united healthcare, and blue cross. They see children too, and do well child checks. They will also do your woman exams, just not labor and delivery kind of stuff...
