Need recommendations OnSun Block after my Dermatologist sliced me up & chewed me out. The one he pointed towards is pricey. I live in South Florida needs to be sweat...

One thing a derm won't tell you about using sunscreen is that most of them contain toxic ingredients and endocrine disrupting chemicals that actually promote skin cancer growth. You can make your own protective cream very easily at home! Here is the link for the recipe I use: http://wellnessmama.com/2558/homemade-sunscreen/

"Pricey" but not so much when you realize you need much less for coverage than cheaper options. I live in Houston (similar to S. Florida in climate) and it stays put throughout the summer months. http://www.californiababy.com/no-fragrance-spf-30-sunscreen-lotion-2-9-oz.html

This is, by far, our favorite. It works great! 3/5 of us are pale, and we haven't gotten any sun burns with this, even when we go to Florida (we live in Indiana). I use it when I run. The spray goes on nicely. It looks like they sell it at target, but I signed up for their e-mails and get coupons so it's cheaper through their online store http://www.goddessgarden.com/
New to area, worried about a mole, no insurance. Recommendations? My last city had some clinics who would do free screenings. I haven't found anything in SLC.

Maybe call one of these free/low-cost primary care clinics for an appt: http://polizziclinic.org/resources/. If they think you need to see a dermatologist I bet they can point you in the lowest-cost direction. Another option you could look into: https://healthcare.utah.edu/dermatology/programs/same-day-dermatology-clinic.php

I would call in advance and explain your situation. Also: get that shit checked out regardless. A checkup's worth of bills isn't worth risking your health.

http://www.lswinyer.com/ My family has seen Dr. Swinyer forever. He is great. There are others in his office who I don't know much about.

I've gone to Dr Justin Thulin- he's across the street from St Marks Hospital. He's a goober/geek but seems to know his stuff. And you can get in pretty quick and if he needs to work through lunch or work late to accommodate your schedule he has for other family members of mine and for me.

We've been to Julie Maughn in Ogden. Dayna goes to one that she really likes. You could ask her.
