I used these guys when I went on vacation: http://happypawspetsittingplus.com/. They were amazing, they even emailed me photos of my cats regularly. Can't recommend them enough.

That top poster sounds expensive. I'll do it for $20/day. I have references. PM if you so desire.

15 to 20 a day. I also have references. People have laughed at me for taking it seriously, i.e. leave a function to hang out with someone's dog. That some one asked me to hang out with their dog a few hours a day so I did what I said I'd do. Happy to help!

I used to be employed with one of Utah's first Doggy Daycares and have been petsitting for a while now. If you need help, contact me, I know a lot of good daycares and I even do in house sitting if that's what you need. Mainly dogs, but I've had pretty much every animal under the sun.

[Barley's Canine Recreation Center](http://www.swimatbarleys.com/our-services/) It's in the Canyon Rim area and they offer tons of services with their petsitting. They'll in home pet sit and bring your dog to the center every day to enjoy things like their indoor dog pool, mountain hikes, their agility course, and a lot more. It's $75 a day, which isn't horribly bad for a short trip.
Moving to SLC, need a good dog boarding service ... probably for about two weeks while we look for a place to live.

Camp Bow Wow! I don't have a dog myself anymore but I have a friend who works there who I know adores dogs as much as I do and the reviews on Google are overwhelmingly positive. They also have cameras you can view through an app to check up on your pup.

Camp Barkalot near downtown. Dogtown Kennels in Sandy.

This seems to come up pretty often. I would try searching the subreddit. Good luck!

There's a doggy daycare near-ish to downtown called City Pet Club. I don't have a dog so can't vouch for their services but they've been in business for at least ten years, they must be doing something right.

I took my dogs to Camp Bark a Lot for years when I lived in SLC - for daycare, grooming, and boarding. The owner Chris is awesome. When I traveled for longer periods, she would sometimes take my skiddish rescue home with her over the weekends. I loved these guys.

We take our dogs to K9 Lifeline in Draper at least 3 times per month for daycare. They do boarding too. They have a really great facility, the staff is awesome, and they have no issues with "aggressive" dog breeds. (One of our's is a Doberman) Give them a call, and they should be able to give you a free tour so you can have a better idea of exactly what goes on before you commit .

We used [Mountain Mutts](http://www.mountain-mutts.com) when our dog was alive. He stayed at the walker's house, with the other dogs and had nice, long walks every day. It was a great pack mentality. Our dog always came home happy and tired. I highly recommend them.

If you are downtown, Diggity Dog Resort is great. We've boarded our large shepherd mix there on a few occasions and the staff is great. We more frequently use Camp Barkalot and really love the staff. Both companies have large play yards, and great boarding facilities, but Diggity requests that you bring your pup's blanket or favorite snuggle toy for boarding. I think for long stays, having that familiar comfort is nice for a dog, especially in an unfamiliar place. Highly recommend either place.

I'd try an in-home boarding service like rover.com. You're more likely to find a place where other dogs aren't boarded, though you might have to pay a premium.
Hit-Enter-Too-Soon replied:
I haven't specifically asked about sick animals, but Creekside Animal Hospital in Draper also does boarding. It seems likely they'd be able to handle her. They've done well for us with our cat and with the rabbits we had before her.

We loved Dog Town in Sandy because the dogs roam most of the day. However, it may be difficult finding a place with openings during the holidays.

Silver Paw Lodge is great.
