Hi Maria! We are heading to Wright Patt in the spring time! We have been told the Prairies is better then the Woods as far as the two housing neighborhoods. And each neighborhood has a different school. I have 8 year old twins that will be in 3 rd grade when we get there, and a two year old. I am pretty sure the BAH is $1056 for E-5 (dont know what it is for E-6). Thats what ours is now and when we seach on AHRN site, that is the estimated amount as well.

We had called housing before also. They just gave us the link for the floorplans. I wish we could find out now what houses they would offer us! We like one floorplan in the Woods and unsure about any in the Prairies. I would love to live off base in an actual single family house but with 3 kids, and the BAH rate, everything seems pretty costly. Our husbands do Cable Maintenance in the Comm Squadron. I think I know about 3 people already at Wright Patt, then Aaryn makes #4 and you now! My husband's Dad actually works on the base too, so it will be interesting to be close a family member!
