This depends on what type of training is required. Agression is a whole other ball game when compared to stuff like pulling on a leash or eating shoes. A lot of good agility trainers wouldn't be right for agression, while some agression trainers may not be good at agility... so what your needs are matters. It also depends on if you want positive reinforcement, or old school methods. If just basic training a LOT of good trainers are rrsonably priced.

Apparently this fellow is very good as well and just recently had his truck stolen...and one of his first responses was to be thankful that no dogs were taken. Sounds like a really good guy. If we get a basset in the next few months, this is who I'll be asking for. Link in comments.

I would check out Sit Means Sit San Antonio. They're definitely not cheap, but their training really helped with my anxious pup. They offer in home training and personalized sessions, followed by group training at their facility. If you end up checking them out, tell them Bolivia sent you :)

I can't say enough about Marlene Ring. She comes to your home or offers boarded training. My dog and I are currently using her. My vet recommended her over group training which I've used in the past with little success. So far she is worth the extra money. http://www.pawsitivesolutionssite.net

What type of training are you wanting to do? If it's basic stuff, self-training is a great way to bond with your animal, and is pretty easy as well.

Most chihuahuas only get away with bad behavior because of their owners. Summer Jurney gets disciplined like any other dog.
