I just switched to Adam Crawford on El Camino Real not too far from Radio Shack.

We had a great one for 20 years Dr. Van Dam but he is quitting next month due to ObamaCare.

I just switched from Kaiser to Blue Shield. Kaiser: higher monthly premiums, but office visits are only $20, MRI/ CT scans $50 and surgery/ hospitalization only cost me $250. No deductible and I loved that you could have everything done at one facility. Blue Shield: lower monthly premium, but I have a deductible & have spent a lot out of pocket already. Must get referrals for specialists, but I like the convenience of having local doctors....I don't have to drive to Irvine like I did with Kaiser. I'd say just do your research to see what's the best match for you, depending on your medical needs & how frequently you visit the doctors. I'm having some regrets for leaving Kaiser because I liked my GP better there, plus I never received a bill in the mail for services rendered. Every copay was up front and I knew the amounts were always the same, no matter what I was having done.
