Dr K Gatt Galea, Dr L Borg, Dr J Azzopardi they have been mentioned before in this thread, I am not aware of any other equine vet on the island. Between them they do their best but they are only human.

Thank you all for all these number. I am going to write them all for any emergency. Dr Schiro told me he is not seeing horses anymore, since i needed him to see my horse recently, but he referred me to another vet, though he was very helpful with the blood tests and he gave me results within an hour, a reccommend Vetplus for blood tests. Last week I met a friend who has trotters and he mentioned Dr Crause (dont know how to spell the surname), he told me that@Marsa a lot of horse owners are using his service. I agree with Lucienne that something must be done, unfortunately my first horse died due to the delay of a vet I used to bring to see him

Ghana Zwiemel u Kultura has been for the past months working exactly on this. We have approached the authorities in question to give an equine first aid course to vets on 24 hrs shifts. At least like this, in an emergency, some sort of relief medication can be administered to the suffering horse.. But, these things take loads of time I am afraid

The truth is having pets means we sign up to releasing our money too.... the vets i have come into contact with have been amazing and SO reasonably priced....compared to the UK....Dr Borg in Birkikara, Dr Delphine or Dr Trevor at San Fran.....thank you for all you give <3.

Although we have not yet spayed a female bunny, our doctors at Animal Doctors, and specifically Dr Luke Sultana, has done surgery on our rabbit (female - C-section) and all went very very well. I think they see a LOT of rabbits at Animal Doctors Hamrun, just the other day I saw one leaving the clinic with the owner after teeth removal.
