You should check out Houzz.com for inspiration. You can narrow down by room/style/color etc. Many photos have commentary and also links to the fixtures or material used. When picking the tile be sure to look at the color shade variation since some tiles can look dramatically different from the sample. Are you hiring a GC? If so they should be able to provide some guidance as well.
