Well, Good Luck with that Anywhere, USA. All the good doctors retired and got "OUT OF THE SYSTEM." There are not enough patients to support the doctors...so they MUST prescribe you prescription medication to keep themselves afloat. BE AWARE! A lot of ANGRY MEN in the area getting pumped up w/Testosterone and going STUPID. Try work that shit out in court...cause the court system here...appears to side w/the Predators that inflict harm on others, including rape! And whatever you do...Say NO to Psychotropic Meds. You will KNOW you are in the wrong place if you get 'kicked out' because you Refuse to subscribe to their DRUGS. Keep away from those fucking WITCHES at Cynthia Dalsings office, because they sure HAVE fucked up MANY PEOPLEs LIVES here in the area.

Do NOT see Brett O'Connor (whatever his name is at Sandpoint Family Medicine). He does not listen, interrupts, and makes inaccurate assumptions. Then lectures on those assumptions. Very frustrating! I like Kathy Roberson, who is in the same office and has always taken the time to listen, etc.

Steer clear of this TOWN! Chris Kollobow. Bonners ferry Family medicine. We went through doc after Doc after Doc denying the existence of My husbands Lyme in this area. To the point Kaniksu called him a hypochondriac and tried to prescribe Prozac, called me crazy and yelled in my face that they were the best of the best. They don't listen in this town and are arrogant. Maybe give Bonine a shot as I didn't but have heard good things.

I've had children at both Bonner General and KMC. My oldest was at KMC and I went through Health Care For Women. I had no complaints. We lived in Sandpoint when I got pregnant with my twins. Went to Sandpoint Women's Health and they were AMAZING! I had lots of problems, ended up hospitalized at Sacred Heart Medical Center for 3 months, was released and delivered at Bonner General. Their delivery was a "what can go wrong went wrong" delivery (nothing they could have helped, it was just how things went). They were amazing, and took excellent care of my girls and I.
Molly H. replied:
Denise Midstokke and Rachel Cox at Pend Orielle Midwifery! I had all 3 of my children in the tub at her beautiful birthing center only two minutes from the hospital. Not only do they offer experienced medical support they are understanding and realize that birthing is more than just a medical procedure.
