I see Eric Schubert at Providence Neurology in Spokane. Mine was due to post concussion syndrome. If you are taking over the counter medication for headaches, stop. They cause what is known as "bounce" headaches. I take prescription gabopentin which has helped tremendously. Keep a journal to see if you can find a pattern as to what triggers them. Also, get some rest! I was doing everything recommended but still has headaches every day. Dr. limited me to 40 hours per week and suddenly I started getting relief from the headaches. Also something I haven't tried that I should have is to take turmeric. Turmeric reduces inflammation which is a cause of headaches, particularly mine.

I grew up going to the doctor that delivered me and my mom still goes to him. Dr. Thomas Lawrence at Kaniksu. He knows his stuff! But if you prefer a female doctor, I go to Dr. Tuck Ainge at Kaniksu, I love her. She really listens to you and she always lays out every option. She's the only doctor I've had really listen to me instead of shove me out the door. And her whole staff is great
