Gah! Featherston is another one I wouldn't pay to make me a sandwich. He couldn't prepare a motion to save his life (which is a rather simple procedure). Not what you want to pay good money for. Before you hire an attorney, talk to Jay Sturgill with Family Court Services. You may not need one. But if you do, he is very kind and will direct you down the right path.

There is nobody in Sandpoint that I would recommend, including the above mentioned. I have gone up against several local attorneys while representing myself and their levels of preparation and understanding of family law are basic at best. If you aren't comfortable representing yourself, I would highly recommend Jennifer Brumley out of CDA.
