I am moving to the Sandpoint area and needing to find a new pediatrician. So, who's your favorite local (Sandpoint/Pondery) pediatrician? And why is he/she your favorite?
Jeffrey B. replied:
Dr. Deland at Sandpoint Pediatrics. He's absolutely amazing! He's honest, friendly, efficient and he always makes the experience nice for my kids. He's the only doctor that I really trust for my kids.
Erin P. replied:
I agree, Dr. Deland is amazing! He's been our family's pediatrician for nearly 17 years (me and my siblings, my children, etc) always puts the kids at ease and isn't afraid to be silly with them just for a giggle! He LISTENS! Also Hailey Rose (same office) my kids liked her right away and she always addressed every question and concern I had no matter how long it took (within reason of course) Sandpoint pediatrics is the best!
Josh-Hailee G. replied:
Thank you everyone! I was a little worried about the transition, but it sounds like its hard to go wrong with Sandpoint Pediatrics:)

Dr. Kuper and Dr. Kuhta at Sandpoint Peds/Kaniksu are really really good...also Dr. Brown.
Brenda M. replied:
I didnt mind Dr. Brown...but kuper admitted she did NOT read my childs info, poohpoohed everything I said and then sent my kid into a screaming meltdown (he is on the spectrum and has massive anxiety issues) by demanding I schedule his blood draw for a specific date RIGHT THEN. All while she just completely ignored him screaming and crying in terror. She also intercepted test results that were ordered by his psychiatrist
Tyler A. replied:
Go to Lakeside Peds in CDA. I know it's 40 mins for you but I live past Clark Fork and take my kiddos there. I don't care how far it is, they're amazing.
