Anyone have pediatrician recommendations? Our beloved amazing physician is leaving and I have approximately 4 weeks to find a new one! And I'm extremely picky.
I am in search for a new pediatrician for my one year old son. In or around the sanford area.
If you can tell me the name of the doctor. Where they are located. And why...
Ashley C. replied:
Nancy Marshall is a nurse practitioner...there's nothing wrong with that. She's just not a physician
Hope S. replied:
WATERboro. Peds Dr.Brooks
Christine M. replied:
Dr brooks. Waterboro village pediatrics. 247-6742. She was in Sanford nearly 18 years ago when I found her for my first child. Moved to waterboro and she has cared for all five of my kids. Always get a quick appointment. Can always get a call back from a nurse to triage and decide if a visit is needed and how quickly. Just very happy with them overall. I have moved my kids to a family practice as they hit their later teen years because she "feels" like a pediatrician to them just because they're growing up. But that's a long way away for you ;)
Kristin G. replied:
Dr Burgess and Dr Gouldsborough at SMHC pediatrics in Kennebunk. They are both great and we have seen both nurse practitioners and while I prefer Meredith over Carly personality wise they are both great professionally and I trust all 4 of them with my kids.
Diana F. replied:
Nancy Marshall works with/under Dr.Theobold. They are both excellent!
Brenda F. replied:
Dr Theobald! I have two kids- 14 and 5- they both have seen him since birth. Great with the kids.
Samantha C. replied:
Thank you all so much. I will call theobald seems like a lot of good things about him:) thank you Christine. Dr. Brooks is my first call. That's were a friend of mine takes her son.
Sara B. replied:
Christina Manning is replacing Dr Joshi at Sanford Pediatrics and the PA is Carley Mejia. I just transfered all 4 of my kids from where they were with Carley before to where she is. Have had her taking wonderful care of my kiddos for over 7 years now and would follow her to another practice any day!
Kristin G. replied:
Kristen Webber Dr Burgess is a developmental ped. He's awesome.
Courtney W. replied:
Dr Walsh at waterboro peds! They are all great there, we usually just see Dr Walsh
Mellany D. replied:
Is Nancy Marshall???
Heidi M. replied:
I'm so sad he is leaving too. Dr. Joshi is a rock star. Sam loved him. He really likes the NP there too. I'm keeping him there in hopes the next pediatrician will be great too.
Sara B. replied:
I was told that Christina Manning was taking his position. Carley Mejia is a fantastic PA and will be in this office. I wouldn't want my kiddos to see anyone else. She has been there since day one and puts 110% love, care and effort into her job and is fantastic with kids:-)
Sara B. replied:
She will be in the Sanford office. I just went in last week to sign the release for all my kids to have them transferred to Sanford Pediatrics.
Kristin G. replied:
We see Dr. Burgess but would see her for sick visits sometimes.
Tammy B. replied:

We were referred to Dr. Frost and Dr. Carly and couldn't be happier. We loved our Dr down in MA and it was very important that we found a practice that was equivalent when we moved up.

Dena C. replied:
Dr Frost and her staff are really amazing. Our daughter had to be rushed to the hospital on a weekend for an asthma attack (first one so we didn't yet know she had it). The on-call doctor was amazing and Dr Frost was on the phone with us and the hospital doctors to coordinate her care during and after she came home from her stay. You can't ask for better care than we received. We are so happy with them.
Cheryl N. replied:
Dr. Frost. Awesome, our son had two seizures called they said bring him in. Awesome, nurses, love Nicole.
Cassandra C. replied:
Pediatrics at Goodall Carly is awesome we love her
Heather N. replied:
Village pediatrics in waterboro all the Drs there are wonderful
CJ G. replied:
2 years ago when my daughter was born I was told there was only 1 pedi at Goodall, so I opted to have her be seen by my doctor, Dr. Melissa Ifantides - she is a family practice, so she sees both my daughter and me, and she will be able to continue to see my daughter for as long as we live here. My daughter will never "age out", which I really like. Good luck with your search!
Hi, you guys were so helpful with our last dr referral I thought I would ask again. I read the old posts for pediatricians and Dr Parker-Mello who was recommended is not...
Stephanie J. replied:

Kirsten N. replied:

I have an opening as of right now. I own a small family daycare in my home. We pride ourselves on giving the sense of an extended family to everyone in our care. My daughter is my only employee. I am a mother of 4 and grandmother to 6. My daughter has a child of her own. We are both cpr/first aid certified and maintain the required by law trainings each year. Miss Rae's Learn and Play is open 5 days per week from 6:30 - 5:30. Feel free to look us up on our page on Facebook where you will find my contact information as well. Hood luck with your search but I'm hoping to hear from you.
