Have you ever taken a fluoroquinolone antibiotic – such as Cipro/Ciprofloxacin, Levaquin/Levofloxacin, Avelox/Moxifloxacin or Floxin/Ofloxacin) or the like? If you have, you may want to research the side effects, as the usage of such drugs can result in long term/permanent side effects. Check out theses articles: http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2013/09/25/fluoroquinolone-antibiotics.aspx . http://www.hormonesmatter.com/fluoroquinolone-time-bomb-mitochondria-damage/ Many doctors will dismiss this as the cause initially, but the evidence is out there. You many have to present it (the evidence) to your doctor for him/her to even consider it.

Have you had your thyroid checked? Most docs dont know how to properly diagnose it. Check out symptoms for yourself on www.stopthethyroidmadness.co,

Mycoplasma? Its a stealthy little guy smaller than bacteria. Search Dr. Garth Nicholson. His website has all the information. There are a couple of pathogenic strains....sore eyes in addition to chronic fatigue was one of the symptoms...calls for antibiotics. There are some herbal remedies as well. Good luck.

DETOX regularly!! Epsom salt, baking soda & bentonite clay (try not to let it come in contact with metal because it will reduce its effectiveness) bath!! You will be tired after this bath. That's normal. Here's a link http://wellnessmama.com/8331/3-natural-detox-bath-recipes/

Look into nutrition response testing in your area. It is great for helping with vague symptoms. You can read about it on my blog: www.nursegonenatural.com

i went on a food detox program, and it changed my life, I bet you'd have great results...a lot of our problems stem from food/chemicals in our system....check out www.karmachow.com, shes the program I followed and she has a lot of great tips and recipes on her website...it again, changed my life for the better! be well!

I'd get adjusted by my chiropractor, just to eliminate that possibility. Then I would see my NAET practitioner. She would test to see if I had developed an allergy to something and treat it. NAET is a natural allergy elimination technique that uses acupuncture to treat allergies.... The acupuncture alone would help too. naet.com is the website to learn about it and to search for a practitioner in your area. It has helped my family amazingly. Also make sure you aren't eating any food chemicals... No aspartame (diet drinks, gum, low fat dairy items sometimes). No artificial colors etc.... A good healthy diet is important. Nicole B. replied:
Dr. Moza also has a Thosand Oaks office. He has done both my surgeries. I love him
Destiny D. replied:
LOL Nicole Biehle I think you're the one who sent me to Moza at Dr. Shawn's office
Shawn D. replied:
I refer all my patents to Dr. Moza. He is has been very supportive of Nicole and I. He takes the time to listen to you. As a doctor myself I pride myself of taking time with my patients and Dr. Moza does the same. Chiari is not just hard on the patient but their love ones too and Dr Moza understands that. This forum has also been a god send and has helped me as a love one understand what you guys go through.
Hello Pete, I'm a transplant to California recently from New Jersey. Could you recommend a Neurologist, Neurosurgeon and Neuro Ophthalmologist in the Southern California...

Hi Barbara, Thanks for your post and I'm so sorry to learn that you are struggling. I just got online as I am currently in Pittsburgh, but will return to Los Angeles on Monday, Sept. 15. Possibly, we can meet then. My phone number is (805) 570-0484. Here is the link to the ICA's Dr. Directory in California: http://www.chiariassociation.org/doctor-directory/California The ICA doesn't recommend doctors, but my neurosurgeon, Dr. Larry Khoo (who is an ICA Medical Advisor), is on the list and is located in downtown L.A. Regarding a neuro-ophthalmologist, the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society has the following directory for California: http://www.nanosweb.org/i4a/member_directory/feResultsListing.cfm?directory_id=1 Take care, Barbara, and I hope that you feel better soon. If you can meet at LAX on Sept. 15 let me know as I always love meeting my fellow Chiarians in person. All the best, Pete
