Looking for a nice Hotel, in room Jacuzzi preferred but really just looking for a romantic hotel? Hi,
My gf and I are looking for a nice hotel in the Bay Area,...

When you find the hotel and check in, I want you to spend the weekend thinking about how someone's *done it* on every surface of the room. Big, fat, sweaty, hairy people. Every surface. If I can't enjoy a weekend like that, I sure don't want you to enjoy it either. I'm just messin' - hope you find it - if I want a weekend package, I'll drive up to Fort Bragg and stay at the North Cliff Hotel.

Hotel Valencia Santana Row is stylish, upscale, and centrally located to shops, restaurants, bakeries, coffee and tea, etc. Ask for a room with a balcony facing Santana Row. The rooftop patio is a nice place to enjoy a quiet glass of wine. Or go downstairs and enjoy the bustling street.

Lafayette Park Hotel and Spa in Orinda http://www.lafayetteparkhotel.com/ For ~$300 a night you can get into their super duper suites, no in room hot tub though IIRC. Nice hotel, good service, good spa from what I hear, good restaurant (though pricey) from what I remember.

https://www.santaclara.org/hotel-packages/romantic-packages/ This actually found some nice romantic packages in the Santa Clara area, could not find the same for nearby cities, so will probably go with something on this list!

Check out Airbnb. There are plenty with private spas and pools for much less than a hotel. As far as romantic hotels go Madonna Inn is your best bet
Is there any camping around? Or should I suck it up and get a cheap hotel? Would rather camp though :P
Roberta S. replied:
no camping at venue, drive 30-40 miles to Santa Cruz county, southern Santa Clara county, or over to San Mateo county and state park camping available, likewise north to Oakland at Lake Chabot

I never know Gary, hubby has had coworkers who commuted from Modesto to Santa Cruz on a daily basis....my niece's husband commutes from Modesto to the Peninsula for work.../
Considering hotels in Palo Alto over Santa Clara. Want to be with heads willing to throwdown and get down after hours. Where would be the best area to stay?
Roberta S. replied:
I just realized that weekend is Pride Weekend in SF, will make hotels throughout the Bay Area more crowded and pricey
