Can anyone recommend a good cosmetic dentist? My main concern is getting my teeth whitened but am open to other forms of correcting as well!

I've been going to the faculty group of UCLA Dental School. I only see the same dentist there and I do not see any students. I go there for my oral surgery, dental implant process and after my implant on June 11(I have to heal and have more work done before I can go to the cosmetic step), I will see the faculty of the cosmetic dentistry that my oral surgery dentist refers me to there. Yes, they are on par with pricing of a regular dentist, if not a little more, yet after a regular dentist messed my tooth procedure up, I wanted to go to someone who is teaching dentistry at the top dental school. I figured this dentist would be highly skilled and had been screened to death to be teaching at UCLA for 20 years to dental students and to be the president of a dental implant company on top of that, I figured she must be highly skilled. So, maybe try UCLA Dental School and ask for the faculty group for cosmetic dentistry.

Insurance? Cash? How much you willing to spend. On a struggling student budget or responsible adult with savings.

I recently used a Groupon for Zoom Whitening with Dr. Danny Shiri – he & his office staff were super lovely and I’d highly recommend! For cleaning/x-rays/a little bit of cosmetic bonding, I’ve gone to Dr. Raaanan’s office in Beverly Hills. They’re on the pricey side, but I was super happy with the experience. Staff was very thorough, kind, and the front desk is willing to work with you if payment is an issue!

Dr. Geach downtown. If you need major work like implants, he's amazing. And he has amazing referrals for oral surgeons and orthodontists if needed. Expensive tho!

Dr. Kent he’s in Phoenix Arizona at Kent dental which is a very cheap flight from CA. I flew from TX to AZ just to see him because of how severe my teeth were. He transformed my smile in a day I highly recommend him. He and his staff are so friendly

Dr Shay at Linden Dental Care is my go to! She has two therapy labradoodles in the office for people who are afraid of dentists but they hang out with everyone.

Ok - I never write about this stuff - but I am so excited about my dentist. [Dr. Liu](https://yelp.to/wDw2 nuPGEeb) in Sherman Oaks is terrific. I had a lot of work there and actually enjoy (I know it’s weird) going. Expensive but 1000% recommend.

My dentist told me to avoid getting recommendations from friends and ask your local periodontist who is good, but not sure if that advice applies to more cosmetic work. I never found a dentist I liked in LA unfortunately.

The best dentist in the state is Dr. Gregory Stern 310-453-1500. Honestly, he works hard to save you money. The most honest guy in the biz, I'm convinced.

Dr. Brandon Ho in La Cañada. Best “bedside” (chairside?) manner I’ve ever experienced in a dentist, plus state-of-the-art equipment. I hated going to the dentist until I started going to him. http://www.lacanadacosmeticdentistry.com/

Dr. Parnaz Aurasteh - Oral Care Dentistry in Beverly Hills. It’s an amazing office in general, I have two veneers and two crowns on my four top front teeth and they did an AMAZING job on all of them. They’ve all lasted a really long time, look completely natural and I get compliments on my teeth a lot. (edited to add the Doctor to her name because she earned it!)
